We all know that spectacles have been used to improve people’s eyesights since the 1400s, but nothing amazing really happened to the world of vision enhancement, until the mid 1950’s when Contacts were discovered.

Well now there are some stimulating new finds in the technology used to enhance your vision, which will be a tremendous ease to the millions of short and long sighted sufferers amongst you.

It is difficult to wear Contact lenses or even glasses if you have really dry eyes or struggle to work in a dusty environment. The Ortho K system – Contact lenses that correct short sightedness while you sleep – might be worth studying. The bespoke Contacts are inserted at night and realigns your cornea to correct your vision whilst you sleep, so that you wake with perfect vision. The visual benefit can be found for at least 24 hours and sometimes a little longer – so you have to continue to use the product every night. They are waterproof – so if you swim – they could still be an option for you. Although the lenses don’t cure short sight, some studies have indicated that using them may slow down the progression of myopia. This treatment is now within the reach of most people’s pockets, although it has been around for about 5 decades now.
